The public discussion and debate that takes place in the House of Commons is an integral aspect of our democracy. During House Duty and Question Period, Members of Parliament debate legislation, ask questions of the government, and speak to issues that matter to the Canadians they represent.
I frequently speak in the House, providing input towards legislation under debate, asking the government questions about issues facing our community and making statements raising awareness about important issues, or honouring members of our community and country.
