The Government of Canada has launched a 60-day public consultation to assist in developing a long-term strategy to improve the availability and accessibility of drugs and other health products for all.
The goal of this strategy is to better prevent, manage and inform patients and healthcare professionals in Canada. This strategy will be based on the suggestions, advice, and requests received from stakeholders, including families, patients, Indigenous communities, academics and supply chain players.
Consultations will run until August 4, 2023.
