From February 5 to 11, the Government of Canada will join Canadians and development-focused organizations to mark International Development Week (IDW). Each year, IDW brings Canadians together to recognize and learn about how Canada’s international assistance makes a positive impact in the lives of people around the world.
This year's theme is Go for the goals - a call to action for Canadians to help us advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This week is also an opportunity to recognize and salute those individuals and organizations, in Canada and around the world, whose tireless efforts are improving conditions in some of the most challenging and vulnerable parts of the globe.
