A new call for proposals under the Enabling Accessibility Fund (EAF) Small Projects Component has been launched. This stream is available to support infrastructure improvements that will support about 580 small projects in workplaces and communities, and approximately 65 projects in early learning and childcare facilities.

Eligible organizations can apply for up to $100,000 for:

• small construction, renovation or retrofit of existing spaces to improve accessibility
• accessible Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)

Prioritization will be given to projects that support the improvement of accessibility and safety for persons with disabilities in:

• shelters, for those experiencing violence and/or gender-based violence
• workplaces where persons with disabilities work or could work in the future
• Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC) centres
• Indigenous projects to improve accessibility in Indigenous organizations

The deadline for organizations to submit applications is November 1, 2022.
