Transit for the Planet on Earth Day
April 19, 2022

On April 22, TransLink is launching its first-ever Earth Day region-wide campaign called Transit for the Planet.

Individual actions can make a collective impact. They’re asking customers to leave the car behind and take the bus, West Coast Express, SkyTrain, or SeaBus knowing every person’s choice can make a difference in the fight against climate change.

TransLink is committed to fostering the development of a sustainable transportation system that promotes the ecological, economic, and social wellbeing of Metro Vancouver and beyond. Their Sustainability Policy articulates TransLink’s commitment to making sustainability a key factor in all strategies, plans, business practices, decisions, and operations.

Take part in this year’s Transit for the Planet and share how your Earth Day message on social media. Share your efforts around to your network to inspire participation in Transit for the Planet on Earth Day.

Let’s make moves to tackle climate change together. Use the #Transit4ThePlanet when you take the bus, SkyTrain, West Coast Express, or SeaBus on Earth Day.
