The Government of Canada, along with provincial and territorial governments and distribution partners, is providing free rapid COVID-19 tests to organizations.

These tests are to be used for regular workplace screening of employees who are required to be on-site.

Businesses and not-for-profit organizations are eligible to apply.

Before you start, you’ll need the:

1. Name of your organization; 
2. Point of contact for your organization;
3. Number of employees you employ in Canada; 
4. Provinces and/or territories in which these employees work

Based on your organization’s location and number of employees, you will be directed to the most suitable source of rapid tests:

Large companies and organizations with 200 or more employees:

• Directly from the federal government

Small and medium enterprises with 0-199 employees:

• Through a provincial/territorial government
• Via distribution partners, including:
  • Pharmacies (companies with 10-199 employees)
  • Chambers of commerce (companies with 0-199 employees)

Registered charities, non-profit or an Indigenous organization:

• The Canadian Red Cross

Eligible organizations must agree to the following conditions:

• Keep rapid tests and not resell them
• Limit use to within Canada
• Screen employees who are working on-site according to the guidelines provided by relevant provincial/territorial governments
• Demonstrate they are using these tests before further supplies are provided
• Collect and report on usage
